Subject: Mandatory Insurance for Competitors – Current Season
Dear Competitor Members, After several weeks of efforts and negotiations, the FECCLQ must unfortunately face the facts: insurance companies no longer wish to offer the same type of coverage that we were able to secure from June 2024 until now. We are sincerely disappointed by this situation, as we had found in that model a beneficial, accessible solution tailored to the reality of our competitors. Despite all efforts made by the insurance committee to renew this option, the primary insurer has decided not to extend the product. As a result, it is now mandatory for each competitor to provide proof of motorsport insurance that includes a minimum of $2 million in liability coverage, for all activities held under the FECCLQ’s banner. This proof of insurance must be submitted both to the FECCLQ and to the promoters of the events you will be attending. To assist you in this process, here is a non-exhaustive list of insurance providers specializing in motorsports or off-road vehicles that offer this type of coverage: Stoneridge Specialty Insurance K&K Canada Assuracing MP2B BAZINET AND MORE...
